OmniTrackr Roadmap

A public view of planned improvements for the media tracker. Priorities may shift, but this is the direction.

Now

  • Improve public content quality with demo pages, guide hubs, and category-specific tracking pages.
  • Strengthen public reviews with better filtering, clearer category explanations, and review writing guidance.
  • Improve account trust surfaces with clearer data, privacy, export, and public review controls.

Next

  • Add CSV import templates for movies, TV shows, games, books, music, and custom lists.
  • Improve statistics with trends, rating coverage, backlog progress, and clearer category comparisons.
  • Add more category guides for movies, books, anime, and music tracking workflows.

Later

  • More flexible recommendation notes, including who recommended an item and why it was added.
  • More public profile controls for people who want to share selected lists safely.
  • Optional richer metadata for custom tabs while preserving exportability and privacy.

Why Publish This?

A roadmap helps users see that OmniTrackr is maintained and gives new visitors a reason to come back. It also explains the product direction: a practical, privacy-aware tracker for many kinds of media rather than a thin single-purpose list.
